Week In the Life-Friday

5:30am Coffee and some news...
6:50 This little guy came out of his room this morning dressed in his new t-ball shirt and hat. He was very excited to be wearing it!
Then he wanted to sample some of the lemon juice I had sitting out for a recipe I was making...
Prepping the lemon danish cake for MOPS later this morning...mmmmm!
Dropping Aiden off at school...
She is the ever faithful companion
...and we head back home. The school is literally minutes from our house! How I will miss that convenience when we move!
Daddy is home from work by 8:30 this morning...coaxing Finn to "fall" forward off of the counter.
No, it's not a sale on mini-vans...just the biweekly meeting of MOPS at the chapel here on post...Finn and I are here a little late...9:30. We stay and I enjoy the fellowship of other women for about 2 hours. The  kids were running wild since our childcare (snowbird ladies) is gone. There were alot of people here today...lots of chatter.
Getting ready to go out on a date...sort of. The Demings will keep the boys tonight and we are headed into town to have some sushi, look at tile and make the final decision on the carpet at Lowe's and then to the VFW for Follies. There is a skit with Collin in it...about his glasses.
the funny poppy bulb headed crop...we have no idea what it is
I think something inappropriate is about to come out here...

dinner was yummy! love that sushi and the Lowe's trip productive...now off to the Follies
I can't resist a landscape photo in b&w

Originally I wanted this for the sunset but after looking at it I realized it was a perfect record of the gas prices we are living with right now...$2.92/$3.02/$3.12
The skit with Collin had everyone cracking up! It was pretty funny...I was worried they would really make fun of him but it was all in good fun!
Back on YPG we go through the gate and get our ID's checked...not really gonna miss that too much.

Aiden was still awake when we picked them up but Finn was out...like a little sack of potatoes...
